The aim of the EFPT series is to teach some of the basic vocabulary and structures of the English language to students who are beginning their study of English.

Learning takes place through oral and written exercises, designed to develop student’s language skills.

Student material consists of a Student’s Book (SB).

The aim of Book 1 is to teach oral and written communication in English to students who are beginning their study of the language.

Natural everyday American speech is presented in the dialogues which serve as the basis for all subsequent classroom work.

Grammar points are inductively presented in the lesson texts.

Book 1 contains 425 new words and expressions.
