INTRODUCTION

This is a course for oral communication. It is designed to meet the needs of students whose primary aim is to speak and understand English. Consequently, most of the work in this course is geared towards listening comprehension practice and speaking.

This course also includes work in reading because the students need to be able to recognize the written form of the words they can speak and orally understand. They will discover that the ability to read enhances the oral communication process.
